Hello Marcus,

Usually for such scenarios, you will either have to talk to the tenant about the takeover fee or you will have start looking elsewhere for your F&B project. It is very unlikely that the takeover fee would be removed if you are only looking at that particular location, unless you are able to work a win-win solution with the current tenant.
