Hi Gurus, what is the norm for industrial agent commission eg 1 year 10% or fixed $500 whichever higher or more than 1 year how much..? Is this an industry trend or vary according to agent companies?

I would like to lease out my warehouse and office, and would like to give more commission if agent (s) could help to do it asap, is this legal or subject to the agent companies?

Dear sir/madam,

If it is purely a rental case, the typical service fees applicable will be:

1) Half month worth of rental fees plus 7% GST for lease period below 1 year
2) 1 month worth of rental fees plus 7% GST for lease period between 1 to 2 years
3) 1.5 month worth of rental fees plus 7% GST for lease period between 2 to 3 years

I am not sure on how the $500 was derived in your question, perhaps is because the size of your available unit? Let me know more information such that I can better advise. Thanks.
