End users are not allowed to put up post for sale or rent on PropertyGuru as it is only meant for licensed realtors with a paid subscription to put up advertisements on their sale or rental listings. In fact I just paid over $12,000 to PropertyGuru to top up my advertising credits last week and in the coming month, I will be required to pay another over $17,000 to renew my subscription with PropertyGuru in order to continue my advertisements. These are our advertising costs on PropertyGuru alone and does not include any other portals or medias, most importantly they are not guarantee to sell or rent. Are you willing to put in advertisement costs with no guaranteed results or is it better to pay commission to agent when there is a successful transaction, which in your case having the tenant successfully secured before you pay? Furthermore the commission can be built into the monthly rental expected so your tenant will be indirectly paying the commission instead of you. Doesn't that make it more beneficial for you as an owner?
