I am looking to rent a factory space of around 5000 sq ft.
Is it possible to include to include a option to purchase clause in the rental agreement in case the landlord wants to sell the property later? How effective is this clause?

Thank you for your reply and explanation.
But currently unit is 4000sf and I am looking for a 5000-7000sf standalone unit in Jurong. The reason why I am interested in such a clause is that I will only have sufficient funds in 2years time for a purchase.
I am thinking of a scenario where, I have first refusal, but do not wish to meet the landlord's demands if it is unreasonable. I am willing to match any bonafide offers for the purchase of the property. Is my request reasonable and logical?
