Hi Mr Singh,

I think that's a very good option, as you wouldn't need to incur any ABSD for the second property.

For commercial property, I'd suggest you buying a HDB shophouse, as the rental yield potential is there, and vacancy rate is low.

Like Teck Chuan mentioned, you need not pay ABSD for commercial properties, even if you already own a residential property.

There are many options for you.

2 main categories :
Private and HDB commercial units.

Hi, Mr Singh, do take note for Commercial property, although there is no ABSD, GST is payable but refundable via a company setup. there are a few types of commercial to choose from namely, Retail, Offices and Industrial. it would be good to familiarise yourself with the different type of commercial properties before you proceed with your plan.
