Good Day to all,

I have rent a commercial industry unit from a landlord and has just renewed the lease (with duty stamp). But 15 days after I renew, the landlord decide not to rent me anymore and require me move out ASAP. But I have just upgraded my aircon and some network wiring. I refer to the contract that we have signed (Prepared by my landlord agent), I do not see any clause that protect me. May I know what shall I look out for in the contract and where I can seek compensation and what kind of compensation can I seek?

It is definitely an unfortunate incident. You may wish to speak to a legal advisor to go through your tenancy agreement and see what can be done in this scenario. More importantly, how do you minimise the impact of such an incident to your existing business.
