Tremendous disappointment
Poorly-maintained overpriced filthy place of an HDB grade. Installed Jacuzzi is out of order for ages, being just an ugly hassle and occupying too much space. Major plumbing issues. Infested by termites, roaches and ants. Falling apart. Walking paths are always dirty, covered by mud and sand. Smell of stale water and roaches spray always in the air. Criminal owners hiding from tenants. Awfully disgusting; required Authorities attention. -

Better value elsewhere
Owners still selling above Nov '11 prices, and with new measures 10-15% fall in prices is guaranteed. Property quite overvalued given location (noise from road, loud chanting from mosque), with facilities in near neglect. Definitely can get better value elsewhere -

Poor Management Office
We have been staying in Villa Marina for coming 2 years and the most disappointment with this estate is the management office. The condo manager changed every few months and most of them are very rude towards residents. Management office does take a very important role when you are buying property. So watch up this small factor which you may neglect. -

Quite Place
I moved in to the condo in April and my unit is facing the mosque. Its very quite within the unit and there isn't any loud prayer or chanting even during Friday. Very happy with the unit and will definitely stay here for the long term -

Disappointed!!
Having stayed here for seven years, never had an issue with carpark lots till recently thr mgmt decides to slap a charge of $720 a year for second car!! -

A truly wonderful place to live
When we moved to Singapore several years ago we spent a considerable amount of time viewing property before deciding on Villa Marina which has everything which we were looking for in a very family orientated condominium. It is a low rise development surrounded by landed property which has a magnificant pool and clubhouse and beautifully landscaped grounds.It is very well maintained with a reading/study room,multi purpose room, karaoke room, BBQ pits, childrens playground's and tennis court in addition to ample car parking space. Being so close to the excellent amenities at Siglap and the East Coast Park is certainly a big plus and we have spent many happy hours either walking,cycling or picknicking along the beach and enjoying the wonderful local cuisine at the Lagoon Food Centre and the abundant seafood restaurants which are only 10 minutes walk away. It is also well served by an excellent bus network which makes it very easy to commute to work and to explore the rest of Singapore. The residents are very multi racial with a good mix of Singaporeans and expats with many long stay owners and tenants which is testimony to what a nice development this really is. We have been very happy living at Villa Marina and certainly have no intention to move elsewhere as it is highly doubtful that we would be able to find somewhere just as nice. -

Asking price is ridiculous
The last transacted price was only 910K for a 1130 sqft and now all the listing are asking nearly more than 1 million. The property has a lease of only 84 years left and maintenance of aged condo is always increasing. Facilities are showing signs of being dated but the main concern is the mosque that is located so near the condo. Chanting and prayers can be frustrating to resident during after office hours. Not to mention super friday! The current asking price is definitely a put off. -

The jewel of the East Coast
Villa Marina is a beautiful low rise condominium within very close proximity of all of the amenities which Siglap Village has to offer whilst being a very short walking distance from the East Coast Park. It is very secluded and peaceful and has a distinct resort feel with a wonderful swimming pool and Clubhouse and lovely landscaped grounds,together with a tennis court and karaoke lounge.There is a breathtaking double BBQ area overlooking the pool and jacuzzi's and other excellent areas throughout the grounds to enjoy a BBQ together with children's playgrounds. It is a short distance from the wonderful shopping and eateries at Parkway Parade and Katong and is very convenient for the airport which is only 15 mins away.There are some first class schools within close proximity and an excellent transportation system which ensures that it is easy to travel to other parts of the Island. Having visited many condominiums throughout Singapore this has to be one of the nicest and best maintained and is very popular with Singaporean's and expats alike who wish to live near the sea and the numerous amenities which the East Coast has to offer. -

Convenient and cozy
Villa Marina is a very convenient condo with all the necessary amenities wthin 5 minutes walking distance (Indian/Thai/Italian restaurants, McDonalds, Starbucks, Cold Storage, doctor, school etc). Not to mention, the ECP Seafood Centre and Singapore's only Water Ski Park is across the expressway, within 10 minutes walk from the condo. The bus connectivity to most of the places like Suntec, Orchard, Raffles Place etc is quite good as well. Plus the condo facilities, esp the swimming pool and jacoozi, and the general resort-type ambience offers a very cozy living for families. -
