  Excellent Living Experience

  Been living here for the past 11 years. Never once I complained about the development. Yes, the MRT noise isn't as what others think, after I replaced my window rubber gasket, the noise reduced significantly.l and I almost heard nothing. What I love about metropolitan is its strategic location, only 10-15 mins drive to orchard and city area. And this vondo is surrounded by a lot of amenities including wet market and good food. In overall, it's been an enjoyable living experience for me.

  Dangerous for Kids

  Swimming pool is its worst condition and needs full repair. There are accidents every other day and management don’t do anything.

  Spacious, central apartments with fantastic f

  Olympic sized beautiful swimming pool, tennis court, newly renovated gym, and very spacious apartments given the central location (the other buildings in Redhill/ Alexandra View are considerably smaller). Great apartments for professionals and families. The best part is that the MRT is right next door and there are lots of shops nearby (pharmacies, groceries).

  Excellent location and price

  Mrt is 2 min walk away. 7min drive to Orchard, CBD, Vivo City. Good layout, bright and breezy. Alexandra canal is great for cycling and running too.

  Poor furnishing

  Not surprise when many complaint of the poor finishing since the developer is Capital land. Many of their projects have poor finishing even up to recent new developments.

  The Metropolitan Condominium

  The MRT track actually went through. the property premise. Quite interesting but otherwise no harm. some units may have dual key concept. Charming good size balconies with some units having great views of the city

  En-bloc < 20 years

  Noisy with MRT on one side and Alexandra Raceway on the other. Low quality fixtures in units and condo amenities are falling into complete disrepair. Small wonder: Owners either aren't invested or are consumed with petty politics, while renters are disenfranchised.

  The Metropolitan

  The current price for this location is high, with the many new condo's coming very nearby, its buying demand and rental yield is a question mark. The current asking rental is already showing signs of weakness, even before the other condo's are completed. Paying such an high price,with such a low rental yield,is rather high.Interest rate will go up in time to come.MRT track noise is bad

  Very noisy, but

  Yes, I agreed with all reviews. I recently moved out from the Metropolitan and rent a place somewhere quieter (abt 15-min walk to RedHill MRT). I regretted my decision. Walking a short distance in Singapore is not the same from other cities (Sydney or Melbourne). (Hot weather, sweating is unavoidable) I missed the Metropolitan. Noisy, but convenient .. just next door is the MRT. Moreover, i do not stay in the unit most of the time as I work outside.

  Too noisy !!

  Having staying here for 1 year and I totally agreed with some of the reviews here,is just too noisy to stay! Pros- It is very near the MRT, good location. Cons- The units facing MRT, is too noisy, you don't need an alarm clock to wake you up at 5:50am every morning when the 1st train reach the station and you can only sleep peacefully at 12 midnight after the last train passed. Even the units facing inside is still a bit noisy.
