Good and Bad
My colleague and I both rented a unit each at Glade. She for a 2br facing the pool and all was good. Separately I got a low floor 1 bedder facing the landed houses, think it would be better, but boy I was wrong. Firstly, my unit at block 20 is too close to the road junction and very often I hear loud traffic noises from bikes and buses. Also, there’s a Chinese temple directly in front of block 20. I was told it’s a columbarium housing the ashes of the dead. Time to time I could hear activity noises from the temple especially during big events, and smelling smokes and incenses is not uncommon. Think twice if you are getting a low floor unit facing the landed / temple. Choose those units facing the pool as they are much better -

It’s like a war zone!
Signed on a tenancy for 2 years and that must be the greatest mistake I have ever made in Singapore! While I was initially impressed with the walking distance to the train, I was soon plagued by the constant construction dust and noise which seem to go on forever. The main road leading to the condo is forever jam packed, with heavy construction machinery and hoardings all over. Grab drivers told me it’s always a headache to drive past that stretch of Tanah Merah. Staying here is constantly giving me headaches ! -

Congested and Noisy
Condo is near the MRT and it also means it’s super congested and noisy. Probably appeals to expats and tenants who values the proximity to mrt but this is definitely not the right place for own stay. It’s far from amenities. You can’t even get food or basic necessities within walking distance. So in conclusion, it would be a good condo if you want to invest and rent out, but definitely not one you would get for own stay. -

Mrt at doorstep with shelter to the mrt
Love the greens and the swimming pool is a plus.My unit is high rise but not facing the mrt.The noise does not bother me at all .Especially when the door is closed hardly can hear the noise .I’m staying on the high floor with unblock view -

Very Convenience Location and scenic scenary
Located at the Crossroads of the East side of Singapore (literally between popular East locations like Bedok Central, East Coast Park, Changi Business Park, Changi Airport, Tampines Central), This is a very good condo if you are into living in the East side of Singapore. Regardless of whether you are driving or not, there's plenty of public transport to get you to the locations i mentioned. The MRT station is literally just steps away from the side Entrance! Also, there's surprisingly quite a number of 'jacuzzi spa pools' within the vicinity (1 big one, 1 medium one and 2 small ones) in addition to an olympic size swimming pool and a kids' pool. I agree with some of the reviews here that the Gym is abit on the small side especially in relation to the number of units in the glades. I don't play tennis so can't comment much about the Tennis Court Quality). I got a larger high ceiling one room unit facing the bungalows so the MRT noisy is not really an issue for me. Kinda scenic sleeping on the hammock in the balcony during the weekend. Also, alot of greenaries in the 'gardens' so if you are into this type of stuff, probably the lower units will be your thing. Lastly, as i am a frequent traveler, the location being so near to the airport is a godsend. -

Not bad but too crowded
Very lovely landscape and so close to MRT! But a bit congested, 700+ units for 1 tennis court only! Gym is small by most condo standards. Also wished there was a storeroom in my unit... -

Very convenient and pleasant environment
Location is very convenient, just steps away from the mrt exit. Makes going to work and coming back home really easy. Environment within the condominium is also very pleasant, spacious with lots of greenery and water features, plus walking paths too. Feels relaxing coming back after a day at work. It is also a pleasant change from the crowded feeling everywhere in Singapore with so much space to relax. Enjoy sitting on one of the deck chairs semi submerged at the pool in particular. Friends have also complimented on the nice environment of the condo. -

Superb location, no noise with right unit
Attracted by the development as it's almost at doorstep of the mrt station entrance. By mrt, it takes just 15-20min to the heart of the city. Was a little anxious before I collected my keys as many people told me about track noise for condos near mrt stations. But to my pleasant surprise, nothing heard from my unit. That could be because I chose a unit facing the landed houses. Also get an unblocked view with that. -
