Great place for small family
Have been living here for past 6 years, my unit is facing greenery and newly completed landscape garden above the canal. Love to take a leisurely stroll or jog along the connector park. Yet so near city , 5 min walk to Redhill MRT . Many expats with young kids love it here! -

Oasis in city
Tanglin View looks like a great option - nice resort feel to stay, closer to mrt, closer to orchard. Also, the upcoming waterwork at alexandra canal will increase the value of this property. High enbloc potential as well as the properties in front like metropolitan and ascentia sky have almost the same number of units in about half the land space compared to tanglin view. All and all, it looks like a great investment with high rental yields to me. -

Green and quiet living
After moving into this condo for 3 years with my family, we look forward to some enhancements to the condo and the surroundings. Finally, the entire condo development will be repainted and while it may take a few months to complete, it is totally worth waiting for as the whole development will look fresh and new again! (next to newer condos across the street - Metropolitan, Ascentia Sky). Our active kids and me miss running and cycling along the concrete paths built along the canal before Alexandra Canal work started. We now patiently wait for the Alexandra Canal transformation that will be substantially completed this year end / early next year. The transformed green park with water features will enhance the surroundings of the Alexandra Road area benefitting all residents in and around the area. Residents in this condo are lucky to be able to look out to the greenery, the city and the new park from our windows. We cannot wait to walk, run, cycle and relax in the new covered river park! -

Great investment in D3
This development is excellent from investment perspective. Even with newer condos in the area like Metropolitan and Alessandrea, this development has always command good rentals. Current asking rental from $3800+ (2br) to $5400+ (3 br). The generous site layout with spread out tower blocks provide a relax environment and appeals to local and expat tenants. For those who need balconies, visit Metropolitan and Ascentia Sky (in future). Most suitable for those who work in Raffles Place or Shenton Way area, 15 min by MRT, taxi or bus! Orchard is 10-15 min by taxi or car. Per URA Q12010 report, rentals for private residential properties increased by 4.7% in Q1 2010. Investors should hold on to their units. For owner occupiers, it may be abit too early to cash out this moment, so if owners want to move out, rent out the units for next 12 months or so to ride the rental upside. -

Tanglin wanna be?
10 year old condo with dated original finishing. The canal views varies as some face a secondary school's new extension. Even with improvement works completing in the next few years, the view is nothing to shout about. Canal has certain smell in the evenings too. With so many construction happening, peace and quiet will be a while away. There is also the deep tunnel sewerage project (DTSS) undertaken by NEA along alexandra that does not seem to be finishing anytime soon. Pool view can only be seen at lower floors. High flr views now block by new condos around them. Noticed there is no function room in the clubhouse too which is usually a norm in new full fac condos. Lush landscaping but home to many mossies. Unit layout sees some with staggered broken living/dining area. Dark and awkward kitchen for units facing pool and poorly ventilated yard. Units facing pool are actually the worst hit ones. Apart from these, the exterior design is begining to suit the retro era for those who fancy living in the 90s and prefer paying 2010 price. -

Quite a gem
What I like - Latent investment value to be realized soon once the announced public amenities becomes a reality (Alexandra canal, new school, re-energized Queenstown/Dawson area, etc) - Condo with largest land size with generous common area compared to all other properties in the vicinity - Decent unit layout - Good mix of neighbours What I dislike - A fair bit on construction now going on in the vicinity -

Serene, lush & quiet living
One thing you will notice right away when you walk in is the nice greenery surrounding and breeze wind. Nice for family stay as it is quiet and have quite a good facilities. Walking distance to Redhill MRT, wet market and hawker center, plus 5minutes drive to Orchard.. kind of best of both worlds :)) -
