how is the condo management now
hi all, i am interested in this condo, would anyone care to comment on the condo management ? is it as horrendous as it is used to be ? thanks in advance -

Draconian MGt
This place has a pleasant environment but unfortunately the property is managed by a group of people who runs the place like their mini Kingdom. The parking situation is very real. I have moved in 1 month ago but I still am unable to obtain a parking lot because my relationship with the owner is not professional (cos we are family) and so I am not allowed a have parking lot, even though the owner was willing to transfer his parking to me. I have been given a day to sort out my parking issue - despite my request for an extension. My IC, official documents. car registration are all in this address but the mgt does not accept it even though it is accepted by the government. Ridiculous. I have 3 young kids and not having access to a car park is going to make my life very difficult. Where am I supposed to park?? I have also heard stories from friends living here, who had his car clamped because it wasnt perfectly within the lines. Visitors who stayed beyond midngiht also had their cars clamped. SO if you do not mind having your life controlled by a bunch of dictators (such as how to park your car, or what time your visitors can stay until), then this place is for you. I am looking forward to moving out soon. -

Awesome Place
We have been looking around for about 2 year and came across this place. Once we had a look we fell in love with it. After which however much we looked around we could not find a place that could offer the same feeling. For example the place is huge plenty of space for kids or for your to walk around. The landscape is very relaxing. The pool is great and the maintenance is very good. -

All right...
We moved out of this place 1 1/2 years ago.but,it is time for me to REVIEW!!! The swimming is not too bad with some parts shallow and some parts deep,especially the 1.6m one.we lived in a 2 story house which is at level 4(last level).house is big and enjoyable to live in!!! Gym is quite nice.the carpark is another unbelievable one,with a fish pond inside!but however,there are very few dishes by the time we left,right now,there might be no more!then,there are also a few golf holes.each hole is a few metres only.and now there is one part absolutely brilliant!!! It is the fish trail(I named it myself)!there is one part we fed bread to the fishes which made us went around HALF the condo!there is also a BBQ pit for you to enjoy!!! -

Great Resort Style Living with some caveats
Seletar Springs was the first and last property we viewed and we made our purchase almost on the spot. We've been searching for a property for over a year and in our heart, this was the one but we kept pushing ourselves to look around in case there were better ones out there. The environment is great! Peaceful and serene and lots of space. You wake up to the smell of forest and birds chirping. There are 2 bad things about the condo: 1. Bad mgmt - Who reacts to complaints / feedback mindlessly. You want to get something done YOUR way, just pick up the phone and complain. It doesn't matter who is right who is wrong. 2. Unpleasant Neighbours - Obviously this really depends on the unit you chose. I guess, this is similar everywhere. Now some examples to back up my comments above. - Renovation The neighbors would complain EVERY SINGLE DAY and the guards would simply march into our house to stop the work . These people don't understand that its inevitable and there is nothing anyone can do about it. My 3 bedder unit, complete tear down and rebuilt, including flooring, took barely 3 weeks. And that's not good enough. - Carpark Actually, there are plenty for residents with more to spare for 2nd cars even. This is almost unheard of in today's world. But its never enough obviously for 3rd, 4th cars. And complain is what these people love to do. - Swimming Pool Just this very week, suddenly the mgmt puts up a notice to ban swimming coaches because there are residents complaining that the pool is overcrowded with kids learning to swim over the weekend. Never mind about the needs of these children and their parents. So it takes these people to complain about the people who complain about the kids now. Get the picture? Thankfully, these are some of the things that irk us once in a while. As I mentioned, the space is huge, and great living environment as long as we stay away from troublemakers. -

Great Choice
Didn't expect myself to be staying in the North of Singapore, knowing how bad the traffic to town was. But my wife and I were totally enchanted by the place when my friend recommends that I take a look. After 10 years, the condo is still pretty well maintained and I guess the condo management did a good job. True resort feeling esp in the evening when you take a walk around the swimming pools. The only problem is accessibility but the Layar LRT is just 5-10mins walk away. Overall, we enjoyed the place, away from busy city life. -

Peaceful n quiet
Been living here for couple of years, find it very peaceful and relaxing , especially coming from work. Have one of the best envirnoment compare to some of the condos around the area. Even friends that lives in other condo like it alot. Prices are reasonable and value for money. Recommend for young couples or small families, that like resorts enviroment, rather than "HDB high rise" type of condos. -

Great & Affordable Condo
Bought a unit here. Was taken in by the facilities and sprawling estate. Unlike the newer hdb-like condo, where you have many tall blocks of 'flats' all sharing the same set of facilities, this development is low-rise, with swimming pools bigger than the newer hdb-like condos such as kovan melody or kovan residences. The price is good too, less than 1 million. It is most certainly not as crowded as the newer developments like the ones I mentioned above and also the Quartz at Compassvale. Most importantly, as it is not a new estate, you won't have people rushing to use the facilities such as the swimming pool like those new TOP estates! -

Crowded
Viewed this condo with my husband at the weekend. It's ok with good facilities but very crowded, old and smelly units. 99 leases so people don't take care, especially outside. Ok for HDB upgraders who want facilities, but not quiet. Good swimming pools. One resident told me there is no visitor parking, and the security guard made us park in the side road. How to have visitors when no parking and long way from MRT/LRT? -
