    Bad quality from China Developer

    There is nothing WOW factor in this condo. I am amazed by the asking price in this area that can only mean one thing. A property collapse in the not so distant future. Even if FEO is building a new condo in the area doesn't mean property will go up. FEO nearly gone bankrupt the last financial crisis in the nineties. Good luck to new buyers. One more thing the interior quality used is sucky.

    Negative side of linking MRT to johor

    refer to niceplace post: 1) there are Jimmy & Jimny - different spelling different person 2) Come on, having MRT link to johor isnt good for woodland property. it will draw more ppl to buy johor property and travel here to work.now for those malaysian working here instead of renting a unit here & go back only on weekends , they now can travel back home to johor every day. Some singaporean may do that too. The MRT links will only benefit our casino,not your property PLS!

    Here's food for thought. There's a jimmy who asked for 2BR at $580k in April, only to have a similar jimmy review in Jun "complaining" about it... not sure if the negative reviews are due to unrealistic offer price by the same jimmy? Back to Rosewood Suites. Buyers before the selling stamp duty rule knows we have NO penalty in selling so that is one possible reason why it appears many units are on sale - to cash in on this. Sure, you may get lower prices in Katong/Joo Chiat but you seriously believe Katong/Joo Chiat is less cramp??? You won't get >40% petrol discount 5km away. There's Montessori, SAS, pri, sec, JC, poly and Sports School all within 5km radius. 7 mins walk to Civic Centre/Causeway and you have access to CPF, Std Chartered, DBS, OCBC, SingPost, PUB, Library. Btw, did I mention that Causeway Point is undergoing revamp? we'll have a link to JB in future as well. That gives you a hint of future expansion plans in this region (house value). Yes, there are not many trees now but to compare the surrounding with >5 yr old condos/EC, that's not being realisitc. Trees take time to grow. Rooms are of good rectangular dimensions, no odd corners like some other condos. In the meantime, I'll enjoy my cup of tea in the balcony in the evening. Thank you very much :)

    lousy condo

    just look at the amount of units selling .150 units out of 200 units are selling..there must be a reason!! there is someone here saying its a resort living?? there are no trees ,no wooden design,not cosy, yet very very hot. how can it be RESORT living.. it look more like JTC factory..soo dry,hot & metal everywhere..POOL so narrow like DRAIN..YOU want to know what is RESORT living you dont have to go far just look at CASABLANCA/WOODSVALE/NORTHOAK CONDO.

    Good deal for us

    Both my hubby and myself have been exploring many condo projects around the north area, however we accept the fact that we do not have much choice since we insist that our unit must be new and allows us to move in within a short period. Rosewood suite seems to be our only choice that meets our requirements. Finally, we got our choice unit and we are really happy about the price that we paid with nice pool view and what's more...the place is like a resort to us, serenity and relaxing atmosphere, not too crowded like public places... We simply love it and never regret buying it...most importantly, our kids love it too as well :)

    consider before purchase

    property price in woodland: 1)Newly launch/TOP projects: selling around $950/sqft 2)5-10yrs old projects: selling around $800/sqft 3)5-10yrs old EC projects: selling around $650/sqft EG: if base on a 1200sqft unit 1) will cost- $1,140,000 2) will cost- $960,000 3) will cost- $780,000 base on this breakdown the EC project are better off in value/investment potential & rental return, since is almost $200,000 cheaper than no:2 and $360,000 lower than no:1. so make your choice

    rosewood suit over price

    i refer to freemen forever post you must an agent at rosewood suit or a owner trying to sell high on your property there. but im agree with jimmys comment as my friend is staying there in the pent house , its really really hot up there with the zinc roof... yes for the price at $1100 perSQft and above you can get a freehold unit as what jimmy mention. you just key in the floor area & price base on $1100psft & key in freehold units on the search column above you will get find 100 over units about 10 pages of listed freehold unit on that price selling..you can get units from District 14/15 eg katong/joo chiat/lentor/hill view area and more. please do your home work before comment . thks

    200 UNITS, QUALITY RESORT CONDO.

    I refer to jimmy's posting. First of all, are you comparing apple with apple? Eg. A new development versus 10+ yrs condo. Based on your comment on rosewood suites lap pool and landscape, you must be someone with certain expectation hence I find it rather contracting when you mentioned woodsvale. Perhaps, your budget doesn't allow you to find your dream condo. By the way, What's the name of the new freehold condo you mentioned that you can get at the same price? I think most investors will be interested to know though. Rosewood suites is a resort style development with 5 storey 200 units only,it will give you a feel of relaxation as less residents are sharing the facilities too,walking distance to causeway point,mrt/bus interchange,as for drivers,expressway is easily access.In term of area,the size are larger compare to current 'new' project..basically,rosewood suites is a quality condo and is different from those mass units of high rise condo,if you are looking for a relax,resort and quite condo then this is the one.

    rosewood suit price too high

    i agree with the rest , rosewood suit price too high ,with that pricing you can buy freehold unit at some other place. yet their swimming pool too narrow only 2 pax width and compound no big trees , very dry and hot..the new condo "woodhaven" worst, price even higher with no marble flooring. only give you cheap tiles & deco.. as usual from "far east developer".. i think i will prefer to go look at condos nearby eg:woodsvale condo" . they have better landscape ,finishes & most important pricing..you can get a similar size 3 bedroom unit at $200k-$300k lower.
