Hi,
I am looking to invest about 500K into the commercial property market. I am a foreigner and the purpose of investment is to earn passive income.
As a foreigner, I am new to the commercial property market in Singapore. Amongst such new things is Freehold/Leasehold. Most of the commercial properties appear to have 99 Years or Less Leasehold.
1. Is it advisable to enter into a new project as a first buyer? [or]
2. Buy the resale.
If it is a leasehold property, this question may not matter much. But with the limitation of property age and tenure expiry, how does that impact the buyer if a resale property is purchased?
What are the recommended Entry & Exit Strategies one should be adopting with new & resale properties?
Any advice is appreciated.
