Hi, regarding the rental of a space it can be done immediately, and depending on the use of the location it may require a change of use. As for the borrowing of facilities from private school, you may have to check which private schools are open to the idea, before you start sourcing for a space near it.

If you are currently planning to go on a property journey selling/buying/renting/investing, I can be of assistance. Do feel free to reach out to me for more queries and assistance.

Hello

Are you looking to set up a Student Care cum tuition Centre, cause u are also looking at playground.
Which age group are you targeting ?
Finding a place for tuition centre is easy but to work with international school might be a bit on the challenging side. Especially when it come to using the lab. Some HOD dont like the idea of allowing someone else using their lab as they are in the process of certain experitment and dont want the lab to be use by others.

You can write to my at silviac@singnet.com.sg or whats apps me at 97508318  to dicuss deeper into ur requirements

Here's some guidance to help you set up your tuition centre near a private school in Singapore:

Finding a Location:

Research Private Schools: Look for schools in your desired prime area. Check their websites or contact them directly to see if they offer facility rental for external parties like tuition centres.
Consider Alternative Locations: While renting from a private school offers benefits, it might not always be feasible. Explore commercial spaces near private schools to set up your own centre.
Steps and Timeline:

Business Registration: Register your tuition centre as a business with the Accounting and Corporate Regulatory Authority (ACRA) (https://www.acra.gov.sg/). This can be done online and typically takes 1-3 working days.

Tuition Centre License: Apply for a tuition centre license from the Council for Private Education (CPE) under the Ministry of Education (MOE) (https://www.chea.org/international-directory/skillsfuture-singapore). The process involves submitting documents, attending a briefing, and inspections. Approval can take 4-8 weeks.

Finding a Location: Negotiate a lease agreement for a suitable commercial space or finalize rental terms with the private school (if applicable). This can take 2-4 weeks depending on negotiations.

Setting Up the Centre: Renovate the space (if needed), obtain necessary permits (e.g., fire safety), purchase furniture and equipment. This can vary depending on the extent of work required. Read More
