    Comfortable living

    Super convenient. Units facing the canal too comfortable to live. Stay here for 15 yrs. Enjoy the bird chirping in the morning/afternoon. Relax. Like this condo very much.

    Great for families

    This condo layout is very efficient. Super convenient, next to downtown mrt, and 3 shopping centres with 2 24hr Supermarkets and a library. Very undervalued condo for a 999yr property.

    It is horrible and worst condo.

    Management isn't doing their job properly. The landlord refuses to fix the air-cons when there was leakage. I had to wait for 11 months for him to fix it. He is rude, unmannered and uses vulgarities.

    Excellent location, good fittings, convinient

    I have been going through the negative comments below and i noticed most of those are written during the construction period of hillion and mrt which should be a nightmare i can imagine, i would like to post my reviews on some points people mentioned in previews reviews. As a resident staying there I do not find any privacy issues im staying facing the upper bukit timanh road those people who commenting about privacy have you heard of solar film ? or have you ever used blinds in your life before? If you can afford a house here putting blinds and solar film isnt that expensive come on la. Another point on facilities mainly pool, tell me how many times on a week do you swim? I dont think even joseph schooling has time to swim everyday, the pool the linear is just nice like those roof top pools in hotels, just good for your family. I have been to so many other condos and always find pool as nuisance as weekend is horrendous to relax at home when its noisy, whereas in linear no such issues. There is a good gym, a gaming room, a steaming room and a study room and more over do you know the facilities can be used from 6:30 am to 11pm which other condo in singapore has this timing? Across the road there is junction 10 which has anytime fitness for those fitness hunks if u find the gym is not good enough, there is another gym at senja community club which is just behind the condo cost you only 2$ for a whole day, now if you want badminton or squash or some other stuff the community club has that also, why do you need to buy it with your house when you are going to use these facilities only once in a blue moon? The design of the building is good that gives me and my family our own privacy, no need to see any other faces still we see people in our block, previously i stayed in HDB for 3 years i never spoken to my neighbor but at linear i already know my neighbors since first week. To those people commenting negative here i would like to invite you to my home at linear.

    Next to MRT(2 min walking distance), Freehold, big spaced apartments and next to 2 malls... cant get any better. the apartment is facing the road but the windows and noise proof . great value for money.

    Quiet, Spacious, Convenient

    Lived at the Linear for 2.5 years now and we are very happy with its tranquility, spaciousness and convenience. Ample privacy. My family always enjoyed the peaceful poolside bbq. The house layout is very spacious for my family use. We use the new mrt downtown line to get around, and it is such a breeze.

    Buyer beware of two different PSF

    Please do a thorough research of the pricing before committing. From past historical transactions, there are two different PSF, i.e. facing canal (inward) and facing road (outward). PSF for unit (facing road) are 10 to 15% lower than the same level unit but facing canal.

    A quick honest summary

    I've viewed a number of apartments in the building and at the end, I purchased a unit facing east, towards the school and away from the road. I wouldn't consider anything facing the main road - noisy, dusty and you'll get the west sun. Here are 3 reasons why I chose The Linear: 1. Location - Walking distance to all amenities including MRT, LRT, and 3 shopping malls. It is also within 1km from CHIJ Queen of Lady Peace and Bukit Panjang Primary school. 2. The building was designed by the famous Japanese architect Kenzo Tange and I personally like the design. Additionally, the interiors are squarish and spacious. 3. 999 leasehold development that is near an MRT station is very uncommon. So that sealed the deal. Things that I didn't like but I can make do with it. 1. Facilities are basic and the roof top pool can be noisy due to the traffic from the main road. 2. The maintenance of the property could be a lot better. That's all really.

    Clear View of Residents at Night

    I pass by the place frequently in the day and frankly, I am unimpressed by its proximity to the main road and construction site. However, the real shocker is the lack of privacy. I had a clear view of the residents (without curtains) in the living room when I passed it in a bus at night. If anyone is still keen to get a unit, curtains are a necessity.
