    Great place for living and best in Jurong for

    It has superb connectivity and great convenience for families. Going by the current price, there is room for appreciation after all the mrt lines are built and 2nd cbd status mature.

    Great amenities but poor furnishings

    All sheltered amenities, 24 hr NTUC n Community Club with library within walking distance. Cons on provided furnishings that are of lower quality like non tint glass windows that discolour etc..

    One Of The Best In This Global City

    Undisputed facts About The Centris 1) Near To 2nd Business District in Singapore. We may not get the 3rd in our life time. 2) Every shop of every type at the doorstep, products for any age group from toddlers to elderly can be found here. Shopping at its most convenience without worries even during rainy days or with no parking lots. 3) As global temperature goes up, the value of the Centris will go up as well. Everyone is looking for a cool place to dine, shop and live. Come and see for yourself, it is better than hotel living here.

    One of the most convenient mixed development with Jurong Point Shopping Centre, Boon Lay Bus interchange, Boon MRT station, library, medical centre all at its doorstep and sheltered. It is also very near to Safra Jurong Club. It has 2,3,4 bed room units and full facilities. The ground floor of this condo is actually on the 6th floor, just above the shopping centre and bus interchange. The preferred units are generally those that face pool though some may not mind the facing MRT station to get a view go the Jurong Park. Micah Lim - JKL Consultants

    overpriced

    we have been living in Centris over the last 5 months. Paid hefty price for its convenient locations but problem is this place is really too run down given the fact which it is less than 6 yrs old apartment. Lacked of maintenance, poor quality and workmanship for the interior as perhaps it is the first residential development under this developer. Also the seasonal pest is annoying. Lots of food files, cockroaches due to f&b activities. Those who loved Air show will be good as you get to see all types of jets, helicopters and unmanned planes daily. The only thing good about it is the conveniency and nothing else.

    Integrated Development Projects

    Following Fraser's North Park Residence achieving good sales at appx $1350psf, Centris's Owners should be happy as this could be the future Benchmark price for such IDPs barring external Shocks. I'm curious about the Big piece of land opp Centris which is slated for Mix Development will it be able complement Centris to form a Mega/Singapore's Biggest IDP. That will be interesting & will no doubt boost current Centris's value further. No doubt naysayers will point out to you about the pollution, occasional Fighter Jet Sonic Booms and Human Traffic/Jams. But I strongly believe there will still be people who are drawn to Centris's convenience & proximity to their work locations. Despite the current weak property market artificially cooled by our Dear Govt, Centris is still doing relatively well with regards to Gross rental yield at appx 4%. This alone speaks volume about it's value & potential.

    Convenient, but...

    We have been living at the Centris for two years now. On the whole it is a very nice place and especially convenient with the shopping centre, MRT and buses. Sadly this place is being very badly let down by lack of maintenance of the facilities. For example the hot tubs have been out of order for 18 months, the sandpits removed, the playground has missing, seized and broken parts and one of the floodlights on the tennis court has been out for more than 9 months. Management always say it is too expensive to do repairs. I think too many owners still have the HDB mindset. It is true the apartments are quite small, but that is the trend in Singapore, if you want a big apartment you have to buy an old one, the newer apartments are even smaller! There are some problems with the build quality at Centris not being so good. The sliding doors leak a lot of noise and hot air, some internal doors don't close properly and the shower in the en suite bathrooms with bath tubs is unusable, the water drains onto the floor and makes a big mess. What people have said about the fighter jets is completely true. They are very noisy and they fly most weekdays. Sometimes as late as 11pm and occasionally on the weekends. If you are someone who likes to keep the doors and windows open it is probably unbearable, but we keep them closed and use AC, so we can live with it. It is also true about the dust. Do not take a patio unit on the library side, the diesel dust from the buses will make your feet black unless you mop every day. In fact, don't take any library or MRT side unit due to the constant noise. Having said all of that, we do really enjoy the convenience. You can just walk down to the shops any time for food or shopping, no need to find or pay for parking and no need to carry heavy groceries as you can take the trolley all the way back to your front door.

    Wonderful place To live in

    I enjoyed living in Centris. It's so convenient! My family loved this place as well. From groceries shopping, to having a great dinner and finally a well deserved movie. it's all within reach without stepping too far away from home. I know i have made the right choice.

    Highly sought-after Project

    Centris is in a region of high growth district. With the upcoming Jurong Lake and Jurong East commercial/entertainment hub, it is definitely worth more than its current investment value. In my opinion, it is one of the safest bet for capital appreciation and rental gains among the other condos/apartments since it has also a well integrated mega shopping mall, bus interchange and MRT, all within minutes of walk from the project.

    Best Condo so far In Jurong Area

    I had made my choice on Centris as an investor among other mixed developments in the west and Northwest of Singapore although is is commanding at near city fringe pricing. Reasons being... 1.it is near the upcoming jurong lake district, entertainment within the CBD area. 2.city living with almost every essential amenities within reach with a mega shopping mall directly below 3. excellent transportation links with mrt and many bus service at doorstep. 4.Full condo facilities and they are very well maintained. I am surprised myself when i first visit the place. 5.With the upcoming Jurong gateway nearby, prices in Jurong area can only go north as new developments there will definitely push the existing property prices for a breakthrough. There are of course negative points e.g distance from our existing CBD and noise pollution..But considering the above positive factors, these cons can be easily negated. All the best for those vested and buying Centris for own stay also! Prices are bound to head for more breakthroughs if you believe in it.
