Good forest facing views but poor committee &
Pros 1. Nice forest view 2. Spacious 3. Clean air (beside a nature reserve) 4. 15mins bus ride to Clementi and Beauty World Cons 1. Common Areas - Poorly and dimly lit - Lift floor always flooded - No lights after 1045pm, almost fell once 2. Common Facilities - Badly maintained - Mouldy - Damaged structures eg pillars, floor tiles, door entrances, ventilation system, aircon never repaired/replaced - Lack of proper furniture, no table in reading room, dirty chairs - Smelly pool water - No aircon in lounge - Dirty carpark 3. Corrupted Committe Members Heard rumors of misused funds hence resulting in poor maintenance of common facilities. They claimed they don't have money to upkeep the estate. 4. Far from basic amenities There's only a 711 and a small coffee shop within 5mins walk -

5 Bukit Batok Parkview
Amazing residence. Well maintained with good facilities. Always enjoyed visiting my sister and having a barbecue. BBQ pit is well maintained and has enough seating for a big party. Stone’s throw away to upcoming Beauty World and Jurong Lake District Transformation Areas - Direct bus to 3 MRT lines: Clementi MRT (Green Line), Bukit Batok MRT(Red Line) and Beauty World MRT(Blue Line) - Easy access to PIE and AYE. -

Parkview Apartments
I’ve lived here since TOP and have many fond memories and made a handful of wonderful neighbours who have also been here since TOP. It’s very convenient as it's easily connected to PIE and AYE. Buses are plentiful and only a few stops from MRT. It’s close to Bukit Batok Nature Park which is great for nature lovers and those seeking a healthy lifestyle. The layout of the units are very efficient and well-thought out, so it feels much more spacious than current new condos with their tiny rooms. Hard to find any condo now with ample space for each room. Real value for money for a unit in Parkview. No regrets. My kids grew up here and had so much fun in the pool and my son loved to play football with his friends in the multi-purpose court. The tennis courts are also very well-maintained -

Good Buy, Amazing play area for kids and Good
We did a full renovation and happy where we are. Facing the greenery is a big plus despite facing the main road. Trees does it magic. You will notice yellow birds living in those trees. Children love the futsal which is a rarity among other condos. Pool is Large. Surroundings are clean and well maintained. Parking is plenty. Easily connected to PIE and AYE. 7min away from Jurong East malls and 4min away from West Mall. Buses are plentiful and MRT few stops away. There will be bad apples and these are the tenants/owners which you can find everywhere. Overall it’s one of the most affordable and good place to raise kids. -

The close proximity to PTE and AYE makes comm
The close proximity to PTE and AYE makes commuting an ease on car. However, its proxmity to the industrial park may be the downside. -

15 years resident in parkview
Nature lovers haven. Directly opposite nature reserve and is lush green and peaceful. Units are also big but Mcst is incompetent. Facilities are run down for many years. Furnitures are old and dirty. -

Well maintained and peaceful
I've been living in this estate for over four years in Tower 3, facing the main pool. Here are my observations: First, the estate is well maintained. The Management Office appears to be doing a good job in its maintenance tasks. This is despite the fact that apparently, the Conservanc Fee has not been increased since TOP, and yet the maintenance and sinking funds accounts are still not in the red. The units facing the pool are shielded from the traffic noise. In general, nearby Yusoff Ishak Sec Sch does not pose a noise problem because activities are during normal office hours. There are occasional parties carried out in the pavilion beside the pool. But the estate has a by-law that restricts noise level on the party organisers. By 11pm, the party must end as lights are switched off at the pavilion. The current team of security guards are on-the-ball in enforcing this. As mentioned by others, traffic access is good as the PIE is two minutes away, with easy connections to AYE as well. Location-wise, it's right at the edge of the Jurong East Lake District. Some people mentioned a termite problem. I do not encounter this despite the fact that the cabinets in my house are still the original ones. I suppose that it has been resolved. -

Good news! Painting approved ...
I am glad that the Council mgt and SP have approved the painting of the project. It is convenient to take bus or drive to expressway with the completion of the road expansion. Another good point is the close proximity to the Bukit Batok Nature Park for healthy lifestyle. -

Cheapest and lousiest in bt batok!
So glad that my tenancy had ended and have found recently many condos around Hillview area are an equal match to this In terms of pricing but definitely much newer. This age old 15yrs condo has water seepage issues and water from tap is perpetually rusty and dirty . We had to use distilled water instead. Termites are literally a permanent resident here in this project because of the cheap wood used on kitchen top and skirting. Unless the unit has generally changed to solid top kitchen and changed all skirting to tiles, it's just a matter of time before termites bite through. This is especially so for those units facing greeneries, many are termites infested. -

Regret buy!
I bought a unit here two years ago and is now regretting it everyday! This apartment is old and sometimes u can see rats on the pavement! Some of the residents here used the common area eg BBQ pit to wash their clothing,shoes. If you come here for a visit, u will see a large group of "overseas" residents here. Come here during the day or prior to evening to see for yourself.At present price, I think it has gone too high and is making this apartment hard to move! -
