Be A Part Of Hair For Hope!
Many of us grew up experiencing countless ‘hair’ days. Good, bad or even stylish days. Some kids today yearn to keep their hair like you but they could not. Some did not even get to see the day when they could.
Every year, the Children’s Cancer Foundation (CCF), a non-government supported entity, needs S$3.5m to support these poor children with cancer and their families. Last year, they have helped 600 kids with cancer. However, they cannot do it alone without any support.
PropertyGuru has voluntarily come forward to give a helping hand. On the 31st of August, Wednesday at 12.30pm, some Gurus would be shaving their heads to raise money for the good cause. The aim is to raise $15,000.
Through this symbolic gesture of shaving hair, it not only gives moral support to these kids but also create an awareness of childhood cancer in Singapore. You can also play a part to help these kids with the following:
• JOIN US! We need more volunteers! The MORE who join, the MORE money we will raise. Kids with cancer do not have a choice when they lose their hair but yours will grow back very soon!
• GET YOUR FRIENDS TO JOIN! Ask your friends to join in! We’ll give them our support for the shaving day!
• PLEDGE MONEY – Visit our “Shavees” page www.hairforhope.org.sg/index.php?/shavee/sdetails/34 and click on “Make a Donation” button. ANY amount is good!
• TELL EVERYONE! Share the link on Facebook, tell all your friends and families! Help raise awareness, tell as many people and get them to contribute too!
