Continuing its expansion in the serviced apartment segment, Singapore’s biggest hotel operator, Accor, has signed a management agreement to operate 8 on Claymore Serviced Residences situated at Orchard Road, reported Hospitality Net.
It is set to commence operations by the end of 2021 under the name 8 on Claymore Singapore managed by Accor. By mid-2022, there will be a soft refurbishment undertaken for the property’s 85 rooms and public areas.
Featuring a range of modern accommodations, the property’s executive studios as well as two- to three-bedroom apartments will offer spacious living areas, in-room laundry facilities, fully equipped kitchens and elegant bathrooms.
Guests will also enjoy access to the Club Lounge, where they can host a meeting, have breakfast, take part in social events and relax with a book.
The Club Lounge also features a 24-hour gym and a beautifully landscaped pool, providing guests with all the comforts of home and the services of an international hotel.
Surrounded by the city’s best shopping destinations, the Accor property is near the Orchard MRT, the Singapore Botanic Gardens and various bars, restaurants and entertainment venues.
The biggest operator of extended stay and serviced apartments outside the US, Accor has over 300 extended stay properties, comprising serviced apartments and apart-hotels under brands such as Mövenpick Living, Swissôtel Living, Mercure Living and Novotel Living as well as lifestyle brands operated by Ennismore such as Hyde Living and Mondrian Living.
The property at Orchard Road will join Accor’s 28 properties in Singapore, which include the Fairmont, Raffles, Swissotel, Sofitel, Mercure, Novotel and ibis brands.
