    Broken facilities for months and broken promi

    Most units are rented meaning that no landlords live there, therefore they want to pay minimum for maintenance of the facilities. The result are broken facilities for months and months onward (no swimming pool for more than 5 months, flashing lights in corridors, electricity/lights broken in common area such as bbq or resting area) and the management and committee can't agree on repair costs so nothing is done.

    Bijou

    Bijou Condo, as the name implies, is a compact, dainty and yet an ornamental piece of delicate workmanship which is elegant and highly prized. Bijou originates as a French word. So why is Bijou so highly prized? For one, it is uncommon for a freehold development to be located at Tuesday doorstep of a MRT station in Singapore. Just take a look at the list of condos along and near the MRT stations on the East West MRT Line and you will immediately notice they are all 99years leasehold. Second, Bijou has a mixed development with a covered direct link to the Pasir Panjang MRT Station(Circle Line)through the basement. What does this mean? It means residents can access to the MRT rain or shine, in cool aircon comfort throughout the very short walk. Now that's a luxury. There will be altogether 15 retail and F&B outlets at Bijou. There will be 11 shop units on the first floor and 4 units at the basement. Basement 1 will consist of car park and shops while basement 2 will solely be car park. The subtle advantage Bijou has over many other mixed residential and commercial mixed development is that the developer of Bijou, Far East Organization, will not be selling the shops to individual owner's but will instead, manage all the shops on its own under Far East Organization Retail arm. Being an experienced retail management team and managing all the shops at Bijou, Far East Organization will have a full control control on tenant's mix and be able to rope in quality tenants from the F&B and retail scene. There will be a total of 8 retail shops, 6 restaurants and 1 SUPERMARKET. Groceries needs are certainly met at the Bijou.
