  Retro charm

  There’s a retro charm to Beauty World Centre that’s hard to find these days. Maybe many will find it dated, but I like it. Minus the glamour and glitz, there’s more focus on the products I want to shop for. I’m a regular visitor to this mall when I know what I want to shop for specifically. The Beauty World MRT station is right outside so I don’t have to walk too far with my shopping bags. Very convenient for me.

  Traditional mall

  I’ve owned a shop at Beauty World Centre for six years now. It’s one of those traditional style malls with lots of small stores where shoppers often come to buy specific stuff. Most modern malls attract plenty of window shoppers who end up just grabbing a bite before leaving. I’ve got repeat customers like most of my colleagues here who swear by Beauty World.

  Nostalgia

  Beauty World Centre is hugely nostalgic for me, a place I take all my friends and family whenever they come to visit me at my Bukit Timah home. It’s a mall that has many shops selling food, clothes and household items, all under one roof.
