If I'm owning 2 residential properties, will purchasing a commercial property affect me when I want to purchase a third residential property?

Hi Victor,

If you are buying your 3rd residential property as a Singaporean, you will be subjected to the 3% Additional Buyer Stamp Duty (ABSD) on the purchase price and there may also be limitation in getting a bank loan.

Commercial property will not affect you.

Only thing to note is the ABSD.

Hello Victor,

If you are buying your 3rd residential property as a Singaporean, you will be subjected to the 3% Additional Buyer Stamp Duty (ABSD) on the purchase price of the 3rd unit. Of cause, there may also be limitation in getting a bank loan.
