LaSalle Investment Management, a member of the Jones Lang LaSalle group (JLL), has appointed Jon Zehner (pictured) as Head of Global Capital Markets, starting in March.
In his new role, Zehner will helm LaSalle’s global activities relating to new product development, merchant banking, capital raising and large scale cross-border strategic investments with partners.
“We are delighted to add someone of Jon’s talents, experience and reputation to our senior management team,” said Jeff Jacobson, Global Chief Executive Officer at LaSalle.
“Jon brings a wealth of global relationships and transactions experience to our organisation that will accelerate our ability to utilise our deep platform to better meet the evolving needs of our current and future investors,” he said.
Describing the opportunity, Zehner said he is pleased to join “an organisation of the quality of LaSalle and to become a member of a team that has built such an impressive global franchise.”
“This is a unique opportunity to help utilise the first class capabilities of LaSalle to address the dynamic investment needs of the investment community.”
Prior to his appointment, Zehner served as Senior Director at AREA Property Partners and held several senior positions at JP Morgan Chase & Co, such as Head of sub-Saharan Africa and Global Head of Real Estate Investment Banking.
