In 2007, the CEO of SCS set forth a challenge to his admin & facilities manager - to find cost cutting measures to increase savings in the midst of the financial turndown. From there, the manager started to study how the organisation could reduce the number of printers and in the process, he discovered there were much more that could be improved upon. The end results - savings of $66,000 on toner and cartridges and 30% reduction in paper usage.
